LaljiBhai Mavani known to many as Savaj (Lion) for his perseverance, courage and the impeccable ability to maintain relationships started off his journey as a bus conductor. But his burning desire to make a name in this world made him to enter the steel industry.

Beginning as a worker in a vessel workshop, he soon decided to set the stone for his own empire. And with that zeal and optimism he started his own wholesale kitchen appliance brand - LION; reflecting his own bold personality. The later discovery of the vast untapped opportunities in the wholesale steel raw material industries set in gear the foundation of Kansara Lalji Mohanlal.

KLM started off as an idea and has since expanded to become one of the key players in the industry. Before our start in 1972, there were very few business that were equipped to handle all wholesale needs. Today, we have become one of the top suppliers in the industry, and we attribute our success and future to the values of our founder.
